HIP hop group 6VI got a taste of stardom when they played in front of thousands at The O2 Arena.
The Bromley band performed at the world famous venue when they took part in a battle of the bands contest organised by Blastbeat - a company which encourages young people to get involved in the music industry through their schools.
6VI had seen off 400 original entries to make the contest's final six and despite failing to scoop the first prize, they received a commemorative disc and will now be filmed for a reality TV series, which the group hope will groom them for future stardom.
Also on the bill for the event, which marked the fisrt birthday of education charity The Transformation Trust, were stars including Tinchy Stryder, The Saturdays, DJ Ironik and X Factor's Stacey Solomon.
Lead singer Evie, 19, said: "Playing at The O2 was an awesome experience. We all absolutely loved it and can't wait to get back there again.
"It was incredible knowing we were performing where all those big stars had played. The corridors even had a signature on the wall from Whitney Houston.
"Hopefully we can also make it to the top at some point. But this was a day we will always remember."
