BAD Lieutenant will be playing a string of live gigs next month, visiting Camden's Electric Ballroom on March 18.
Formed in 2007 with New Order's Bernard Sumner, with Phil Cunningham and Jake Evans, the band's debut album Never Cry Another Tear was released to critical acclaim last October.
Built on the sainted heritage of New Order and Joy Division, Bad Lieutenant’s blend of youth, experience, and musical futurism takes the band to a new level.
Second single Twist of Fate is due for worldwide release on March 22nd and it sees the band doing what they do best - 21st century guitar music, blending catchy guitar hooks and pounding bass sitting perfectly with Sumner’s familiar effortless vocal style.
The track is already a firm live favourite and shows a more edgy side to the band in comparison to the summery unbridled energy of their first single Sink Or Swim.
Bad Lieutenant. Electric Ballroom, Camden High Street, Camden. March 18. 020 7485 9006.
