A Catford singer whose group won Sky One’s talent competition ‘Sing: Ultimate A Cappella’ has signed a major record deal in time for Christmas.
Joseph ‘Kojo’ Anti is part of the A Cappella quintet Vadé, whose single, Cry Your Heart Out - written by One Direction’s Niall Horan - is out now. Their debut album is set to be released on December 8.
Joseph works in architecture, but the group met at their local church in 2013 and they just signed a record deal with Decca Records.
Alongside Joseph is Jermaine Sanderson, Philip Yeboah, Roy Crisp, and Joshua Hammersley Jr, and they just signed a record deal with Decca Records.
Speaking of their signing to Decca, Vadé said: ““It was our dream to record an album at Abbey Road Studios and to release an original track written by Niall Horan is more than we could have ever hoped for.”
