Elton John announced as latest Hyde Park headliner
SIR Elton John is the latest name added to the mammoth Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time series at Hyde Park.
The superstar will headline on Friday, July 12, after performances by Ray Davies and Elvis Costello. Tickets go on sale Thursday (May 23), or today for Barclaycard Unwind customers on the Barclaycard Unwind website.
Rockers Bon Jovi play the same venue on July 5, while living legends The Rolling Stones have sold out dates for July 6 and July 13.
From Monday to Thursday while the festival is on, people will be able to get access to most of the site for smaller music, film and literature events and lots of food and drink.
