VETERAN rockers The Zombies are heading to Greenwich for the finale of their UK tour.
Still fresh and releasing new music the band, who have inspired the likes of Paul Weller and Dave Grohl, shot into the UK top 20 in 1964 with She’s Not There and their 1967 album Odyssey and Oracle is regarded as a classic.
Original singer Colin Blunstone and keyboardist Rod Argent remain and are still busy recording and touring all over the world.
Mr Argent said: “We’re very excited about the way the band’s playing.
“Colin’s voice is as strong as it ever was, and I feel that my voice is better than it used to be, because I’ve worked on it. Our chops, both playing and singing, are better now than they were before.”
The Zombies are at IndigO2 on Saturday, June 1. Tickets cost £15 to £25 from ticketmaster.co.uk.
