A CRYSTAL Palace comedian, recently voted the best new act in the UK, will perform at fundraising gig next week.
Bands, musicians and comedians who are interested in performing at the Oxjam Festival in Croydon this October are invited to a night of comedy and music at Matthews Yard in Croydon on Tuesday, April 30.
The show will feature comedian Paul F Taylor from Crystal Palace and is an early fundraiser to begin to raise awareness for Oxjam.
Festival Manager John Bownas said: “Last year we had around 120 acts perform at the festival, and a lot of them are already asking if they can appear again. Anyone who wants to get involved for 2013 will be able to have a chat with me or one of the other organisers and hopefully we can get plans in place that will see us smash last year’s fundraising total.”
Go to facebook.com/CROxjam for information about the festival or e-mail croxjam if you are a business sponsor keen to help with marketing costs.
