There is a stunning sunflower field in Sevenoaks with tickets costing just £2 a person.
If there’s one flower that symbolises the end of summer, it's the iconic sunflower.
Sunflowers, otherwise known as Helianthus annuus, can grow to heights of up to four metres and tend to flower towards mid to late August.
This time of year is the prime opportunity to see these bright yellow blooms, but you don't need to venture too far from south east London to find them.
Located in Sevenoaks, just off the M25, Castle Farm is currently hosting its very own pick your own sunflower field, where visitors can walk amongst the blooms and pick them for just £1 per stem.
Scissors are also available for a £5 deposit and children can go free, with entry for adults costing just £2.
Dogs are also able to join their owners, making for a great family day out in Sevenoaks, and there is plenty to do nearby, like the village of Eynsford with attractions such as Lullingstone Castle and Lullingstone Villa.
The field will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, running up until August 26 from 10am-4pm, with visitors able to turn up on the day.
