Located on the North Kent coast, Botany Bay is an award-winning sandy beach which was named a winner of the Seaside Award in 2024, and it also has a Blue Flag, which is awarded to beaches for their cleanliness, accessibility and scenery.

The beach is popular for swimmers, and with its rock pools and sandy shoreline it's also a popular spot for rock pooling and fossil hunting, making it a great family-friendly beach to visit.

With its secluded feel, white cliffs, chalk stacks and dramatic views of the coastline, it's no wonder this beach has been named as one of Kent’s “most picturesque coastlines” and is a popular spot for photographers and Instagrammers, with over 116,000 images shared on Instagram using the hashtag #BotanyBay.
