An open-air cinema is hosting a range of new favourites and classic films under the stars in a south east London park.
For the 2023 summer season, The Luna Cinema is setting up their outdoor cinema at Dulwich Park.
The summer programme this year will feature a brand-new lineup of classic and new film favourites, such as Grease, Top Gun: Maverick, Pretty Woman and Rye Lane.
The company says that these picturesque settings will be the backdrop for an evening of high-end, cinematic magic.
The Luna Cinema has welcomed more than a million visitors throughout the years after opening in 2008 and are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year.
In a first-time collaboration, Disney+ will be joining forces with The Luna Cinema as a headline partner for the summer season.
With longer nights and rising temperatures, watching a film under the stars with Luna is “the perfect summer activity”.
Attendees have the option of purchasing two types of tickets for each screening.
They can either choose the premium director seat, which has limited availability, or bring their own blankets and seats for a comfortable lounging experience.
Hungry moviegoers will find plenty of food and drink options available on-site, including the newly sponsored Luna Cinema bar, featuring Malfy Gin.
Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic, making it a great opportunity for alfresco dining with friends or a romantic date night.
Tickets for the Luna Cinema screenings can be purchased through their website, www.thelunacinema.com/cinema/.
Prices for tickets start at £17.50, including booking fees.
The summer season will run from June 22 to September 24, with the first viewing at Wandsworth Park scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, and the first viewing at Dulwich Park on July 12.
