Crystal Palace have asked about Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic’s availability.
The Serbia international scored 12 goals in a loan spell with Fulham, who won promotion to the Premier League on Saturday.
The Cottagers want to sign Mitrovic on a permanent deal, but will face competition from Palace.
Eagles strikers Christian Benteke and Alexander Sorloth scored just three goals between them last season.

And Chronicle Live reports that Palace have asked to be kept in the loop about Mitrovic’s future.
Despite a prolific second half of the season with Fulham, Mitrovic is expected to leave St James’ Park after being frozen out by Rafa Benitez.
Dwight Gayle, Ayoze Perez and Joselu are preferred over the former Anderlecht hitman, who is set to lead the line for Serbia at next month’s World Cup.
