Crystal Palace have launched a bid in the region of £8.8m to secure the transfer of Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar, reports says.
The Eagles have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old forward, who has scored six goals in 14 appearances for the Italian club this season.

Alan Pardew is desperate to bolster his Palace squad with the addition of a goal-scorer, particularly after the South Londoners failed to score in their last three fixtures.

According to Italian outlet Gianluca Di Marzio and the Evening Standard, Palace have readied a bid of around £8.8m to secure Babacar’s signature in the January transfer window.
Palace have produced a superb run of results in the first half of the Premier League season but Pardew is aware that efficient business this month is necessary for the club to maintain their push for European football.
