Crawley are among a host of League Two clubs looking to sign Charlton attacker Karlan Ahearne-Grant.
The 20-year-old starred for Crawley in the second half of last season, scoring nine goals in 15 appearances during a loan spell.
News Shopper understands Charlton have no intention of letting Ahearne-Grant go this summer.
But Crawley want to re-sign the Addicks academy graduate on loan, while other unnamed fourth-tier clubs are showing an interest in the youngster, who is entering the final year of his contract.

Lee Bowyer, who is in the frame for the vacant manager role at the Valley after guiding Charlton into the top six last term, is a fan of Ahearne-Grant.
He said: “Karlan’s another good player.
“I think he scored nine goals in 15 games. That’s outstanding for somebody who’s playing out wide. I’ve always liked Karlan, he’s a great player.”
Ahearne-Grant has made 69 appearances for Charlton since making his debut in 2014.
