Charlton boss Karl Robinson will be ruthless in next month’s transfer window.
And in-form Addicks attacker Karlan Ahearne-Grant could be loaned out if the club bolster their frontline.
Earlier this season, Robinson said he would be open to letting Joe Aribo and Ahearne-Grant temporarily leave the Valley. But the latter’s three goals in four games have given the Liverpudlian food for thought.
When asked about Ahearne-Grant’s future, Robinson told News Shopper: “I think since then [comments about loaning him] Karlan’s done well and really come to the forefront.

“I now know I’m putting on a man with confidence. We just have to see what’s in the window and what makes us better.
“We’ll do what we think is best for Charlton Athletic. Me, Johnnie Jackson and Lee Bowyer, whatever we think is right for this football club to make us stronger as a team, then we’ll make those decisions.
“Decisions have to be ruthless and harsh and we’re willing to do that as well. So that’s the way it is.”
