Scunthorpe beat Charlton 2-0 to end the Addicks’ nine-game unbeaten league run.
Karl Robinson’s men were outdone by two pieces of brilliance from Josh Morris in the second-half.
Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…
Ben Amos - 7 - Made a fantastic save to deny Tom Hopper in the first-half and commanded his area well.
Chris Solly - 7 - Making his 250th Addicks appearance, he didn't put a foot wrong.
Patrick Bauer - 6 - Returning to the side, the big German tamed Scunthorpe’s strikers.
Ezri Konsa - 7 - He is so good with the ball at his feet, another confident display from the young defender.
Naby Sarr - 6 - Looked comfortable at left-back and was never outdone in a one-on-one situation.
Ahmed Kashi - 7 - Protected Charlton backline and started off attacks with his precise passing.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 6 - Had a few nice touches but was largely anonymous.
Mark Marshall - 5 - Robinson said he was wary of playing Marshall too much, too soon, and today showed. He looked fatigued.
Ricky Holmes - 7 - Always tried to make things happen, and like he usually is, he was Charlton’s biggest threat.
Jay Dasilva - 6 - Playing further forward, Dasvila struggled with his final ball.
Josh Magennis - 5 - His header was tipped on to the post thanks to a superb save from Matt Gilks. But didn't do enough to affect the game.
Subs:
Karlan Ahearne-Grant - 5
Reeco Hackett-Fairchild - N/A
