Charlton were able to see off a resilient Truro City side to reach the second-round of the FA Cup.

Ben Reeves’ brace and Mark Marshall’s first goal for the club ensured there was no cup upset.

Tyler Harvey netted Truro’s only goal in a defeat which the National League South side can take great pride in.

Ben Amos - 6 - Made a few routine saves but was never seriously troubled.

Chris Solly - 7 - He was in the right place at the right time to clear Harvey’s shot off the line in the first-half.

Ezri Konsa - 7 - Struggled with Harvey’s physicality, which will serve as a good learning curve for the talented youngster. He was at his best with vital blocks when Truro piled on the pressure late on.

Naby Sarr - 7 - A few misplaced passes, which Charlton fans aren't used to seeing, but was defensively solid.

Jay Dasilva - 7 - Assisted the opening goal with a good cross and had a comfortable afternoon.

Johnnie Jackson - 7 - Playing in Ahmed Kashi’s deep-lying midfield role, Jackson did well. He broke up play and started attacks.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 8 - Controlled the pace of the game from start to finish. Very unlucky to hit the crossbar with a superb header.

Mark Marshall - 8 - He is off the mark this season and looks better and better every time he plays. His crosses will provide goals for Josh Magennis.

Ben Reeves - 9 - A third and fourth goal in his fourth start for the Addicks. Playing in the number 10 role, he put in another impressive display. Barely wasted the ball in the final third. Man of the match.

Ricky Holmes - 8 - He used to play non-league football so was always going to show the utmost respect to Truro. He was one of Charlton’s most dangerous players on the day.

Joe Dodoo - 5 - Playing against a National League South defence, Dodoo didn't do enough to trouble them. He was anonymous for large parts of the game.
