Charlton, Oxford and Southend are trying to sign free agent Callum Reilly, according to reports.
Reilly left Burton after boss Nigel Clough decided against offering the midfielder a new deal earlier this month.
He joined the Brewers in 2015, and featured 18 times in their 2015/16 League One promotion-winning season.
But Reilly was shipped out on-loan to Coventry in January, and could not halt the club’s slide to England’s fourth tier.

And now, HITC reports that League One trio Charlton, Oxford and Southend are chasing the 23-year-old.
Reilly, who has Championship experience with Birmingham, is a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international.
If a move to the Valley materialises, he would be competing with Johnnie Jackson, Joe Aribo, Andrew Crofts and Jake Forster-Caskey for a starting place.
