THE annual Parklangley junior spring tennis tournament attracted another big entry.
In its centenary year, Parklangley recently hosted a round of the AEGON regional tour for juniors aged five to 18, the largest external event the club runs.
Almost 300 minis and juniors participated from all over the country at the club, Old Dunstonians and two other venues.
The youngest winner was seven-year-old Magnus Amasiatu, who beat off 41 other competitors to win the eight and under mini tennis red event.
In the blue riband events, the U18 boys and girls titles were won by Cameron Hawkins and Nicole Daisley respectively.
The largest single entry in the junior events was in the 14 and under girls event, which was won by number one seed Daisy Hugkulstone, who defeated number four seed Olivia Crowhurst 6-0, 6-3 in the final.
