CHARLTON'S new recruits Johnnie Jackson and Gary Doherty are not at Kingsmeadow for the Addicks' pre-season opener with AFC Wimbledon.
However, Alan McCormack will start in the centre of midfield alongside Jose Semedo while four triallists will also feature in the first half.
Up front will be Icelander Gunnar Thorvaldsson and ex-Swansea Spaniard Guillem Bauza. Compatriot Miguel Llera leads a youthful back four of Chris Solly, Carl Jenkinson and Grant Basey, making his return from injury.
On the flanks are Lee Sawyer, released by Barnet, and former Sheffield Wednesday Dutchman Etienne Esajas, while Rob Elliot starts between the sticks following Darren Randolph's move to Motherwell.
Expected to feature in the second half are Therry Racon and Scott Wagstaff, as well as youngsters Yado Mambo, Tamer Tuna and Jordan Cousins.
A familiar face will be starting for Wimbledon as Rashid Yussuff, who came through the Charlton ranks along with Wagstaff and co, has joined the Dons and will begin out wide.
A match report and comments from manager Phil Parkinson will follow shortly after the whistle.
Charlton (first half): Elliot, Solly, Llera, Jenkinson, Basey, Sawyer, Semedo, McCormack, Esajas, Bauza, Thorvaldsson.
