EUELL STAY PUT: Charlton turned down a £2.5m bid from rivals Crystal Palace for Jason Euell during the January transfer window, Alan Curbishley revealed last Thursday. The club's record signing was linked with a move last month, but was a second-half sub against both Liverpool and Newcastle.
LISBIE BAN STAYS: Kevin Lisbie was a second-half sub at St James' Park as he played his first match since mid-November, but he won't play again until next month following last week's news his appeal against a three-match ban incurred after a red card for the reserves was not overturned.
CUP FEVER: All tickets for Charlton's fifth-round Valley FA Cup match against Leicester City will go on general sale at 8am on Friday, with the usual seats of season-ticket holders reserved until 6pm tomorrow (Thursday). The seats are priced £20 adults, £15 seniors/U18s and £10 U16s.
NEW DATE: Charlton's Premiership match against Tottenham Hotspur originally scheduled for this Saturday will now be played on Wednesday, March 16 (8pm) due to Spurs requiring an FA Cup replay against West Bromwich Albion this weekend. Should both the Addicks and Spurs be knocked out of the cup at the fifth-round stage, the game will take place on Saturday, March 12.
LADIES TOP: The destiny of the women's Premier League title is now in Charlton's hands following their 3-2 home win against Birmingham City on Sunday (and Arsenal's draw with Everton the same day), thanks to a late Katie Chapman volley. Prior to Charlton's match against Fulham on Tuesday night, the Gunners were five points behind league leaders Charlton with three games in hand, but must still travel to play the Addicks. Charlton return to cup action on Sunday when they entertain Northern Division leaders Sunderland at Stonebridge Road, Northfleet (2pm) bidding to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Admission is £4 adults, £2 juniors/U16s.
