CHARLTON have had no interest to date in any of their key players according to manager Phil Parkinson.
Lloyd Sam, Jonjo Shelvey and Nicky Bailey have all been linked with moves away from The Valley in recent months as Charlton battle against financial problems.
But despite the transfer window having been opened for a fortnight, Parkinson’s phone has yet to ring, much to the obvious delight of the boss.
He said: “There have been none. When you go back to the conversations we all had in the summer, the key part of the windows is to keep hold of our best players.
“In the first 24 games we’ve got 48 points, so the lads in the building have done very well.
“We want to keep them, improve those players, keep improving our performances as a team, remember what we’ve done well in those first 24 games and take it into the second half of the season.”
