RECOVERY MODE: Shaun Bartlett was due to line up for the reserves against Derby County at The Valley on Monday night as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury. Luke Young was also included in Charlton's starting line-up in the second XI's first fixture for 56 days. The reserves are next in action away to Portsmouth on February 17.
STRETCHERED OFF: Jason Euell suffered a badly bruised foot against Bolton on Saturday, after the club's leading goalscorer left the field on a stretcher. "Jason coming off was another blow to us, especially with the way he is playing at the moment," said Curbishley. "He's got a bruised foot from the challenge. He carried on for a bit, but it got too sore and he had to come off."
LADIES DAY: Charlton women's team travel to rivals Doncaster Rovers Belles bidding to reach the semi- finals of the FA Cup on Sunday. The two teams were due to play last weekend as well, but the league match was postponed.
STOKOE DIES: Former Charlton boss Bob Stokoe, who managed the club between 1965-67, died on Sunday, aged 73. He had been ill for some time and was taken to University Hospital in Hartlepool four days earlier suffering from pneumonia.
SUB SNUB: Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka was an unused sub for loan club Burnley on Saturday as they drew 0-0 with Wigan. He has joined the First Division side on a one-month loan deal.
