Player ratings from Charlton’s 2-0 win over Shrewsbury…
Ben Amos - 6 - Did not have a save to make for the entire evening.
Anfernee Dijksteel - 5 - He gifted the opposition possession with three wayward throw-ins. Did not offer enough support to Mark Marshall going forward.
Patrick Bauer - 8 - A rock at the back, like he’s been for most of the season. Blocked Carlton Morris’ goal-bound strike in the second-half.
Jason Pearce - 9 - Similarly to his defensive partner, he was solid. His goal set the Addicks on their way to a win which could prove to be so vital for the Addicks.
Lewis Page - 7 - Had one of League One’s most dangerous wingers, Shaun Whalley, in his pocket… to the extent that he was subbed off at half-time.
Mark Marshall - 6 - Supplied two dangerous crosses in the second-half, and put in a real shift for his team tonight.
Ezri Konsa - 5 - Playing in an unfamiliar position, he gave the ball away too many times in the middle of the park.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 8 - His set-pieces caused Shrewsbury problems. Can’t recall him giving up possession. Another superb performance from the midfielder.
Tariqe Fosu - 7 - He looked menacing throughout this evening’s contest. You always thought something would happen when he got on the ball.
Stephy Mavididi - 6 - Didn't really do much to affect the game, but never stopped running.
Josh Magennis - 7 - He was a focal point for Charlton’s attack. His hold-up play was fantastic. Netted his 10th goal of the season.
Subs:
Ben Reeves - 5
Jay Dasilva - N/A
Harry Lennon - N/A
