Charlton caretaker boss Lee Bowyer is set to remain in charge until the end of the season.
News Shopper understands that Bowyer has the trust from wantaway owner Roland Duchatelet - and the club is expected to release a statement confirming the news later today.
He has won his first three games since replacing Karl Robinson last month - beating promotion rivals Rotherham and Plymouth - to guide the Addicks into the top six.
It has been claimed an Australian consortium want to bring in Crawley manager Harry Kewell if they finalise a takeover deal with Duchatelet. But the Leeds legend played down links to the Valley job last week.
A revitalised Charlton have scored nine goals and conceded just once under Bowyer.
Speaking about his future after the win over Rotherham on Easter Monday, Bowyer said: “It’s not my decision [to stay on as boss] - I’m just going to carry on until told otherwise.
“I’m enjoying it and to get that winning feeling running through your veins again is definitely a good thing.”
