Stephy Mavididi will be on the bench for Charlton’s trip to Northampton on Friday.
The Arsenal loanee has been crocked for nearly two months with a hamstring injury. He was in blistering form before his setback, scoring twice in four league appearances.
Chelsea’s Jay Dasilva, who has missed the last four games with an ankle problem, could also be in contention for the Northampton game after returning to first-team training this week.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Kashi is not expected back soon as he continues his recovery from a foot injury.
Charlton caretaker manager Lee Bowyer said: “Kashi is back in the building so that’s a positive. Little Jay Dasilva has trained the last two days at Chelsea so again, he’ll be training with us today.
“Stephy will be on the bench on Friday and I think that’s about it.
“We’ve got some big players coming back and we’ve had two internationals just come back, Jay Dasilva who I love and Stephy.
“I don't think Kashi is near [to returning to action] yet. I know he’s doing stuff with the physios which is good because we’ve got a lot of games coming up in a short space of time so there will be rotation.
“Hopefully we don't pick up too many injuries. The injury situation is improving, not for me because it means I’ve got to make difficult decisions!
“It’s improving and our players are coming back which is the most important thing.”
Ezri Konsa and Josh Magennis missed the Plymouth win due to international call-ups, but will be available for selection against Plymouth.
