Charlton missed another opportunity to climb into the play-off places after drawing with Bradford.

It’s the same old story again… and again… and again

The Bradford draw was the third successive game where Charlton have thrown away a lead. The Addicks would be comfortably in the top six if they had held on against Oxford, Doncaster and the Bantams.

Karl Robinson’s side played so well until Magennis’ goal. After that, they looked very static going forward.

Whatever the problem seems to be when Charlton go a goal up, it needs to be solved sooner rather than later.

Josh Magennis is proving his doubters wrong

A huge positive was seeing Magennis net his second goal in as many home games. Once again, his all-round play was brilliant.

He really is invaluable to this Charlton team - and some fans could be realising that now.

Magennis had his critics during his 14-game barren run, like any other striker would, but he is silencing them with his goals.

Many Charlton fans question Karl Robinson for the first time this season

No manager at any football club, unless you're Pep Guardiola or Alex Ferguson, is going to be liked by every fan.

Robinson divided opinions among supporters when Charlton finished 13th last season, with a squad that wasn't his. And he has won over most fans with the progress the club has made over the past year, while barely spending any money.

But yesterday, a large section of Charlton fans questioned his decision-making for the first time this season. Some argued that he should have made his substitutions earlier. His post-match comments about the referee’s performance didn't go down too well either.

Football is a results-based industry, so winning games will bring the feel-good factor back to the club.

Sullay Kaikai shows signs of promise

Kaikai impressed in his first Charlton start. He was involved in Magennis’ goal, and had a shot well saved by Eoin Doyle in the first-half.

Playing out wide and in the number 10 role, he looked dangerous.

The Crystal Palace loanee did tire towards the end, although that’s not surprising given his lack of first-team football this term.

He’s got a track record in League One, so he’s only going to get better with more playing time.

MK Dons is a must-win game

It’s been one defeat and two draws against three very winnable sides for Charlton. The fact they haven't won since beating Walsall last month makes the trip to Stadium MK a must-win on Saturday.

Not only to keep up with Bradford and Rotherham, but for a much-needed morale-boosting victory.

Charlton’s luck has been down during their three-game winless run, but if they don't beat relegation-threatened MK Dons, then serious questions will be asked about their promotion push.

The Dons are third-from-bottom and haven't won under new boss Dan Micciche. On paper, it’s an ideal game for the Addicks.
