Charlton boss Karl Robinson is considering recalling Nicky Ajose from his season-long loan spell with Bury.
The striker has struggled for game-time up north under Lee Clark and Chris Lucketti.
Given Charlton’s shortage up front, with Josh Magennis the club’s only senior striker, Ajose could make a return to SE7 this month.
When asked whether he’d bring him back, Robinson said: “Yeah, I’ve considered it. I haven't talked to him recently.
“If he’s there on Saturday [when Charlton play Bury], 100 per cent I’d talk to him.
“He’s a human being so we’ll speak. We’ll have a civilised conversation. I don't hate him! I’d imagine there’s a recall option.”
Ajose joined Charlton in the summer of 2016, but was in and out of Robinson’s team last season.
