Ben Reeves has moved closer to joining Charlton after rejecting Bolton, News Shopper understands.
Reeves, a free agent after leaving MK Dons this summer, held talks with the Addicks today and they are set to continue tomorrow.
The former Southampton midfielder was in the directors’ box to watch Charlton’s 6-1 friendly win over Ipswich on Saturday.
Addicks boss Karl Robinson is a big admirer of Reeves after bringing the 25-year-old to MK Dons in 2013.

News Shopper has been told that the playmaker’s arrival at the Valley looks increasingly likely after he turned down an offer from Championship new boys Bolton.
And while MK Dons have tabled a new and improved deal to bring Reeves back to the club, the Northern Ireland international wants to join the Addicks.
Reeves had interest from an unnamed Spanish club, however, talks have not progressed.
