Jonny Williams has signed a new contract with Crystal Palace.

Williams, who has not played for the Eagles in nearly three years, has struggled with injuries throughout his career.

The 23-year-old came through Palace’s academy and has been loaned out six times since 2014.

Wales international Williams said: “I am delighted to be signing this new contract at a club that holds a special place in my heart.

“I’m looking forward to starting my 17th season at the club.

“I’ll be working hard through pre-season so I am ready for the challenge ahead at the start of another campaign.”
