Sky Sports says the former Millwall boss is set to be named as Pompey’s new manager.
It is Pompey’s first season in England’s third tier in five years after Cook masterminded the club’s League Two success last term.
Jackett, 55, has a good track record in League One, guiding Millwall and Wolves to promotion.
