Former Charlton and Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is reportedly being lined up for the Sheffield Wednesday job.
Pardew has been out of work since being sacked by the Eagles in December.
But he could mark his return to management at Hillsborough if Owls chiefs decide to axe current boss Carlos Carvalhal.

Sheffield Wednesday host Huddersfield in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final tonight following a goalless draw.
The Owls lost to Hull in last season’s play-off final, and if they fail to reach the Premier League again, the Daily Mail says the Yorkshire club could turn to Pardew.
