West Ham’s Diego Poyet has joined Charlton in a loan deal until the end of the season.
The highly-rated midfielder impressed for the Addicks during the 2013-14 season after graduating through the club’s academy set-up.
Poyet quickly attracted the attention of Premier League clubs and in the summer of 2014 decided against signing a new contract at the Valley.

The Hammers signed the Uruguay U20 star shortly after, although Poyet has made just three appearances for the east London club and has been sent on several loan spells.
West Ham revealed that Poyet had been recalled from his loan stint at MK Dons this morning, but Poyet will not spend any time at Upton Park, instead returning to Charlton.
The deal for Poyet follows Rhys Williams and Roger Johnson’s move to the club.
