Charlton caretaker boss Karel Fraeye insists Ademola Lookman will still be at the Valley after the January transfer window, amid talk that a host of Premier League clubs are monitoring the youngster.
The exciting forward, who joined Charlton in 2014, has attracted the attention of several top flight clubs after an impressive start to his first-team career at the Addicks.
Lookman has featured in Charlton’s past three fixtures and scored his first goal during the 3-2 defeat at Brighton last week.

The 18-year-old was still playing Sunday league football last year for south London-based youth team Waterloo, but Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea are said to have sent scouts to monitor his progress at the Valley ahead of a possible move.
When asked by News Shopper whether Lookman’s future at the club is secure, Interim Head Coach Fraeye said: “Ademola is on a two-and-a-half year deal already.
“We are doing what we have to do. I think we are very close to where we want to be.”
Several Charlton stars – including stopper Stephen Henderson – have reserved special praise for Lookman and suggested that he’s a special talent.

However, Fraeye says he is not concerned by the threat of a move from a Premier League club.
He added: “No, Ademola has just started first-team football. He’s started very well but he’s got so many steps to take. I’m sure he won’t be sold in January and will be here in the long-term.
“He’s a smart boy and I think Charlton is a good club for him. If he is looking for a club to develop at, he’s at the best club for him and he knows that.”
