Letter to the editor: I have read many stories in the newspapers about how parking wardens like issuing penalty notices on broken-down buses, horses, hearses, and so on.
What I would really like to know is who employs these morons and who trains them before they are let loose to pounce on poor motorists?
They certainly have a lot to answer for. I sincerely believe all those involved with parking should get their act together and carry out their jobs with a bit of common sense.
How do they advertise for parking wardens? Maybe like this:
- Must have no common sense.
- Must be rude and unpleasant to motorists at all times.
- Must never cancel a penalty notice even if you find it has been issued by you incorrectly. You must cause the motorists the utmost pain and distress.
- If you see a disabled blue badge put upside down, just issue a penalty notice anyway.
