POLICE have released CCTV images of nine youths they want to speak to in connection with an assault and robbery on a train.
Officers say five students, aged 18 to 20, were followed by a group of six men onto a train at Forest Hill.
The men took one of the students' mobile phones after the train started and were joined by six more men when it reached Honour Oak Park station.
These twelve men then repeatedly punched the students in the head and stole three of their mobile phones before getting off at Brockley station.
The incident happened on a train going towards London Bridge at around 8.30pm on November 30 last year.
Anyone who recognises any of the youths pictured is asked to call the British Transport Police on 0800 405040 or the witness appeal line on 020 7391 5275 quoting background log B5 of 22/01/2008.
