PRIMARY school children put their culinary skills to the test in a cookery competition.
Pupils from St Mary's Primary School, Lewisham High Street, Lewisham, took part in the competition called On Your Marks, Get Set, Cook.
The two teams, of children aged between five and 11, which both had an adult team member, were given 15 minutes to create the best healthy dish.
Competitors were then helped by chef Glenn Evans to make food, such as fresh fruit kebabs, in three-and-a-half-hour long cookery workshops.
Mr Evans, who works for catering company Scolarest, started his career at the Hilton St Anne's Manor in Wokingham, Berkshire.
The competition, which was held on March 16, was organised by Scolarest.
