SNOWY lookalikes took on an adventure outside the National Maritime Museum to mark the launch of a Tintin exhibition.
Fifteen dog owners brought their white fox terriers to the grounds of the museum, in Greenwich, to be judged as dead ringers for Tintin's famous companion.
The competition marked the launch of The Adventures of Tintin at Sea exhibition, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the comic-strip reporter's first adventure.
Running until September 5, the exhibition includes the oldest existing drawing of Tintin and a painting of Tintin's creator, Georges Herge, by Andy Warhol, on public display in the UK for the first time.
The winner of the lookalike competition was a five-year-old dog called Socks. The owner wins free tickets to the exhibition and lots of Tintin goodies.
The museum's curator, Kris Martin, said: "The Snowy lookalike competition attracted a wonderful response from dog owners."
