A MOTHER-OF-TWO subjected to a brutal road rage beating by "drugged-up animals" wants them caught before they strike again.

Paula Ainsworth, 36, is urging people to look out for a black Volkswagen Passat with blacked-out windows and report it to police.

Her husband John, 37, said: "These people are dangerous. They do not belong in our community. We need to rid Bromley of these scum.

"If you know anything about the car, call the police immediately."

Mrs Ainsworth, who is afraid to reveal her address, described her attackers as "drugged-up animals".

She was on St Paul's Cray Road when the suspect car sped up behind her Land Rover Discovery, overtook her and braked erratically.

She said: "The car turned into Leesons Hill and as I rounded the corner it was parked across the road. I had to go on the wrong side to pass it.

"But it followed me and rammed my car. A man got out and demanded I see the damage he said I had done to his car.

"I opened my door, then changed my mind but it was too late. He pulled me out."

The self-employed computer consultant added: "He screamed at his girlfriend to come and beat this bitch up'."

The woman smashed Mrs Ainsworth's head on the pavement, hit her over the head with an unknown weapon and kicked her in the stomach.

Police confirmed they are looking for a black Volkswagen Passat with blacked out windows and registration number X7** ROA.

They also want to speak to a black woman, aged about 25, and a black man, aged about 30, following the incident on April 11 at around 7.30pm.

Mrs Ainsworth suffered no lasting physical damage but the experience has left her extremely shaken.

Bromley police are appealing for anyone with information to call the crime office 020 8284 8868 or 020 8284 8869.
