A road in Bexleyheath will be getting a face-lift later this month - two years after it benefited from a revitalisation scheme.
Temporary lights will be installed in Arnsberg Way on Monday (March 16) for eight weeks while some areas of the road surface are replaced.
It is hoped the work will start at the Graham Road junction and will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption. All traffic restrictions will be lifted at weekends.
Arnsberg Way is part of the Bexleyheath Town Centre Revitalisation Scheme, paid for by Transport for London. It benefited from new paving and road surfaces in 2013.
However, some isolated areas in Arnsberg Way have started to show surface defects which need to be replaced
Bexley Council is seeking to recover all of the surface replacement costs.
