Brave volunteers donned waders and climbed into canoes to help clean up Danson Park.
Around 30 local volunteers and councillor John Waters and Louie French took part in a litter pick organised by conservation group Friends of the Shuttle (FOTs).

Despite freezing temperatures, 68 bags and two canoes full of rubbish were collected from the park and Danson lake with the help of the Meridian Canoe Club and Thames 21.
An FOTs spokesman said: "Water from the lake flows into the shuttle at Bexley Woods so any rubbish in the lake can also cause problems in the river. "It was a real success and a big thanks to everyone who came along to help, but there is still a lot of litter in the lake."
