AN OVERHAUL of Bexley Council’s website has seen usage soar by 15 per cent.
A series of changes implemented earlier this year have seen visitor numbers each month rise from 130,000 between March and August last year to 150,000 during the same period this year.
The number of pages each visitor viewed has also risen by 25 per cent since the improvements were made whilst the time each user spent on the site has increased from two minutes to two minutes and 20 seconds.
Changes made include the publishing of more images, reducing the amount of blank space and placing the self-service access button in a more prominent position.
A more consistent house-style has been run across the site whilst new shortcuts and quick links have been created.
The redesign was carried out by Bexley Council’s in-house resources.
