A SCHOOLBOY stabbed in Erith yesterday (April 16) is in a stable condition in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Kwik Fit in West Street at 4.15pm after the 16-year-old was stabbed in the chest.
Police officers cordoned off the Running Horses pub while an investigation was carried out.
The London Air Ambulance landed on a field next to the pub but the boy, named locally as Aaron, was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital by land ambulance.
This morning Bexley police say he is recovering in hospital after suffering “non-life threatening” injuries.
No arrests have been made.
