COLLEGE students are celebrating after being invited to make victory bouquets for medal winners at the Olympics.
Adult Education College Bexley, in Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, is one of only three colleges working in partnership with Jane Packer Flowers in providing the bouquets.
More than 50 current and past pupils, from the floristry course, attended a training session at Jane Packers London headquarters.
They heard how the bouquet was designed, the concept behind the colours and themes and how to construct the important floral icon.
Tutor Linda Barton said: "For the students to debut their skills at such a momentous event will provide them with an extraordinary experience and allow them to contribute very personally to the games.
"This is something that will stay with them for the rest of their life".
