AN INVESTIGATION is set to take place to discover whether two car fires in Downham overnight are linked.
The first one took place just before midnight and involved a Nissan Micra in Downham Way.
Firefighters spent around 45 minutes at the scene and managed to restrict the fire to the front of the vehicle.
And around two hours later the crew was called to Glenbow Road to reports of a Renault Laguna on fire.
They were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
Details of both incidents have been passed on to police to see if they are linked.
