A SPLASH of shock and splat of anger hit a Petts Wood man when a Bromley Council sign told the public they could use his home as a toilet.
When the council closed the public toilets in Station Square, Petts Wood, they put up signs there listing four nearby businesses which are opening their lavatories to non customers.
However, one of the signs says one of the businesses, Cafe Maz, is at 2a Station Square, which is actually the flat above the eaterie, leaving the man who lives there furious.
Fortunately he alerted News Shopper to this mistake before anyone came knocking on his door to use the toilet, and we told the council.
The sign has since been corrected, with tippex used to turn the 2a into a 2 - the correct address of Cafe Maz.
