PEOPLE can have their say on the future of a town centre at two upcoming events.
As part of Lewisham Council’s regeneration of Deptford, Douglas Way is being refurbished from January next year.
Deptford’s Albany Theatre will be hosting two events where those who live in the area can talk about their priorities for the place.
The first takes place September 29 from 4pm to 7pm with another one on October 2 from 10am to midday.
It is all part of the Deptford Town Centre Regeneration Programme which began in February 2008.
Plans include new homes, artists’ units, gallery space and parking facilities along with work on Deptford station.
