Tooting & Mitcham have moved quickly to replace manager Ian Hazel, who resigned last Saturday after last week's 4-0 defeat by local rivals Dulwich Hamlet.
The club has appointed former Brentford striker Richard Cadette as the new first team boss. He has been joined at Imperial Fields by former Southend and Reading player Keith Jones, who was a member of the Charlton side that won promotion to the Premiership in 1999/2000. Jones will be the Terrors' first team coach.
Cadette moves to Dulwich from Millwall, where he was a member of the coaching staff in their youth academy.
It is his first management post, but during his football career he has played for Leyton Orient, Southend United for whom he scored 56 goals Sheffield United and then Brentford, where he spent four years.
He then moved to Falkirk, but returned to London in 1994 to join Millwall for £135,000, and spent two-and-a half-years playing for the Lions.
In the absence of Hazel on Saturday, Terrors skipper Alex O'Brien and Jimmy Dack picked the team that drew 3-3 with Windsor & Eton.
"I thought we did alright," said Dack. "We showed a bit of character after everything that's happened at the club and I thought we should have won in the end."
With all three centre-backs unavailable, Micky Brady, James Lasbrey and James Mordey fulfilled the defensive duties, with Steve Symes pushed into midfield.
Durrand Jemmott returned to the side and scored after just four minutes. Elliot Onochie headed down a high ball and Jemmott hammered a cracking shot into the goal.
Onochie scored Tooting's other two goals, but each time Windsor equalised, making it 3-3 at half-time.
"We had new lads come in and they did really well. They gave the new management something to think about," said Dack.
"Everyone's trying to get their heads down and get on with things. If we come out of the next two games with four points, we'll have done really well."
This Saturday, Tooting visit Egham and host Worthing in the League Cup on Tuesday.
l Tooting & Mitcham's reserves lost for the first time in nine games last Saturday when they were beaten 3-2 at Whyteleafe. Kenny Lowhing and Michael Corbett scored.
