A LUCKY woman from Bromley has scooped the latest £1m premium bond jackpot.
The woman, who wants to remain anonymous, won this month's premium bond jackpot draw after buying the winning bond in June 2007.
She has a total of £29,000 invested in premium bonds and was one of 1,694,728 people to win a prize.
As the latest winner, she becomes the 241st premium bond millionaire selected by ERNIE 4 - the machine which makes the random draw.
The majority of winning bond holders won £25, but four lucky investors made £100,000 each.
Premium bonds are an investment where, instead of interest payments, investors have the chance to win tax-free prizes.
They were launched by Chancellor of the Exchequer Harold Macmillan in his 1956 budget.
