POLICE are asking for witnesses to come forward after a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a park.
The incident happened in Betts Park, Anerley, between 2.40am and 3am on August 9.
Police say the victim was walking across the park from Anerley Road to Croydon Road when she was attacked.
Her attacker then ran off in the direction of Anerley Road.
He is black, has a medium build and was wearing a dark jacket with no top on underneath.
A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have been in or near the area at the time to come forward."
