AN ESCAPED prisoner convicted over the killing of a Plumstead teenager is still on the run.
Terry Booker, 19, died after a knife attack in November 2000.
The man who was convicted of the killing when he was 16 years old in 2001 was serving a 10-year sentence for manslaughter at Hewell Prison in Worcestershire.
West Mercia Police are leading the investigation and have confirmed he escaped from the open prison with two other inmates on Sunday (June 7).
The police say the prisoners pose no danger to the general public.
Mother Lynne Booker is distraught after hearing the news her son’s killer is on the loose.
She said: “I’m totally in fear of my life and I don’t know what to do.
“What I can’t understand is why hasn’t his mug shot appeared on TV? It’s unbelievable.
“I shouldn’t be living like this.”
