The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 24) Order 2008.

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 13th November 2008 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 22nd December 2008.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
a) introduce a Residents Parking scheme in Camden Grove, Chislehurst as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
b) introduce a Pay and Display scheme in Rectory Road, Beckenham as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
c) introduce Waiting Restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.
ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
Schedule:-
RESIDENTS PARKING BAYS
Permit Holder Only parking between 8am and 8pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive.
CAMDEN GROVE, Chislehurst, (i) the south west side, from the party wall of Nos. 12 & 13 south eastwards to its extremity. (12 parking spaces); (ii) the north east side, from a point 2m south east of the north western boundary of No. 14 south eastwards to its extremity. (12 parking spaces)
PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING BAYS
Pay and Display parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays 50p per hour – No maximum stay. Minimum 10p up to 12mins. Maximum £2.50 over 3 hours:-
RECTORY ROAD, Beckenham, the north side, from a point 5m west of a point opposite the north western kerbline of The Drive westwards to a point 16m north east of the eastern flank wall of Dell Cottage. (21 parking spaces)
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:-
CAMDEN GROVE, Chislehurst, the north west to south east arm, the south west side, from the party wall of Nos. 12 & 13 north westwards and north eastwards to a point 2m south east of the north western boundary of No. 14.
